Book your space in the Courthouse Next May, after years of planning and fundraising, Otley will have its very own Arts and Resource Centre in the old Magistrates Court building. Although part of the aim of the centre is to bring a greater range of Theatre, Dance, Music and Art into Otley, the Courthouse will be mainly there for local groups and individuals to use. All the way through the planning stages of the Courthouse Project we have gone to local groups to find out what they would like to see in a centre of this kind. Hours of conversation, and piles of questionnaires and feedback have been distilled into the final plans. The building will offer a range of spaces kitted out to the highest standards with high specification equipment – we’re sure you’ll like it. We want the Courthouse to be as well-used as possible, by the widest possible variety of groups, and this is your chance to let us know what use you would like to make of this exciting new facility. Enclosed with this newsletter is a full description of the facilities that the Courthouse will offer, plus an explanation of our Booking policy and prices, and a Booking Form.
Now is the time to let us know. Please make copies of the booking form if you need more than one, or pick one up from the Otley Civic Centre or the Otley Library. Completed forms should be returned to:
