Les Staves of Very Special Maths provides training sessions and workshops for schools
and LEAs across the country related to Maths for very special pupils. Les has written special maths needs materials and provided training for the National Numeracy Strategy. His book 'Mathematics for children with severe or profound learning difficulties' published by David Fulton Press sold out in seven months. TopGPS has worked with Les Staves for a number of years. Specifying computer systems and resolving installation and operational issues. It was recognised that Les was making frequent trips to conferences and presentations and had a particular need to carry a large amount of contact information whilst out of the office. The recommendation made to Very Special Maths was to use a powerful Pocket PC with additional memory - along with a leading brand satellite navigation and route planning system.
